Reservations

Reservations can be made in advance on telephone number +32 (0) 484 15 98 06. Taxi & Airport Service Metoui gives priority to reservations, and does everything possible to send your taxi as punctually as possible. Unfortunately, we do not have all factors under control. We have to deal with difficult to very difficult traffic during peak hours, both in the morning and in the afternoon. We kindly ask you not to wait a taxi that is a few minutes early.

 

Lost and Found

Objects that you leave in the taxi are always delivered by the driver after the end of his shift. You can pick it up every working day during office hours - contact us by phone. We are happy to bring them home, but then you have to pay for the ride!

 

Complaints

Every complaint is handled by our management. The more accurate the data, the sooner we can address the responsible driver.

Complaints about:

  • a taxi ride? Provide us with the correct departure address and time, and (if possible) the number plate;
  • operator? Provide us with the correct time, male or female;
  • driving behavior? Provide the number plate and correct time;

Police Regulations

The Royal Decree of 2 April 1975 regulates a large number of issues that taxi companies and taxi drivers must adhere to. A number of provisions are important to know for you as a customer:

Police measures for travelers: Art. 18 . It is forbidden:

  • to smoke in the vehicle;
  • to board the vehicle if the regulatory number of seats is occupied;
  • to board dogs or other animals that cannot be kept on the lap without the driver's permission, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind;
  • to use dangerous objects or collies that, due to their size, nature or odor, can hurt, dirty, hinder or cause inconvenience in the vehicle;
  • to enter the vehicle in a state of obvious uncleanness or affected by a contagious disease;
  • to bend out of the vehicle or open the doors while driving;
  • to contaminate or damage the vehicle;
  • to throw any object out of the vehicle.

The safety of taxi drivers is very important, and the legislator has also given the driver a number of options that, if applied correctly, can prevent dramas. Art13.-2:

The drivers can:

  • refuse to accept someone who wants to be driven over a long distance or to a scarcely inhabited place unless his identity can be established, if necessary through the intervention of the local police;
  • demand a commission for long journeys;
  • refuse to accept a person who is in a state of intoxication.

The driver does not have to take the shortest route, but the fastest, unless the customer decides otherwise: Art.14.-1. In addition to the customer's subsequent request, the driver must drive to his destination by the fastest route.

Liability

Taxi & Airport Service Metoui cannot be held liable for misunderstandings, delays by e.g. Traffic jams, breakdowns, weather conditions, etc. that result in you missing your train, bus or flight, Taxi & Airport Service Metoui is not liable, unless and insofar as there is intent or fault by Taxi & Airport Service Metoui.

Taxi & Airport Service Metoui reserves the right at all times, not to have to perform a ride order at the last minute due to. force majeure such as extreme traffic chaos, weather influences, attacks, etc. You can be assured that we will do everything we can to prevent this.

You should therefore take enough time to get to your destination, so that you can still be there in time for your train, bus or flight due to possible delay.

Force majeure means any shortcoming that cannot be attributed to Taxi & Airport Service Metoui, because it is due to its fault and is not for its account under the law, legal act or traffic.

Therefore, Taxi & Airport Service Metoui has no obligation to any form of compensation.
